This FITS newsletter article published on April 16th 2008 shows an example of how I showcased the software OneNote to the faculty and staff at DePauw. OneNote offers lots of advantages for note taking over using paper or word documents.
FITS Newsletter
Part of my responsibilities at DePauw included showcasing new ways to use technology for teaching and learning. This included editing and contributing to the instructional technology newsletter. Published online as a blog, the FITS newsletter gives faculty and staff at DePauw and idea of what the instructional technologists are researching, what technology projects their peers have had success with, and a general understanding of what new technologies are up and coming. The FITS newsletter showcases my skills at researching new technologies and finding practical applications for education.
